We are an energy efficiency company and have been providing heat loss calculations since 1974 and have been producing energy performance calculations using the governments standard assessment procedure (SAP) for new and existing dwellings for building control compliance since 2004.
And more importantly we have been giving honest, practical advice on insulation, heating and heating controls since 1974, and advice on renewable technologies and micro generation since 2004.
We want to take all the fuss away from this new process, the Energy performance Certificate is the only addition to the buying and selling process, all the other document were there before, its stressful enough selling a house and it shouldn’t be made any worse.
As an energy efficiency company we are making every effort to reduce our own carbon footprint, our energy assessors drive the Toyota Prius which is the most energy efficient car in its class, lets face it there seems little point in providing energy assessments if the assessor turns up in a 4x4.

If compiling the pack yourself seems to much like hard work, them we can do it all for you.

Lease hold £280 plus vat
Payment can be differed for up to 7 Months but this will incur an additional cost of £50
The costs listed are for a typical house or flat, and costs may vary slightly depending on the complexity of construction and added extensions etc.
Please call for a quotation on properties with six bedrooms and above.
Re ratingBecause we understand that a poor energy rating may effect the sale of your property, we provide a re rating service.
If you make changes to your property after our survey like upgrading loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, replacing your boiler or even changing your light bulbs to low energy within 6 months of your original energy performance certificate, we can come back and confirm the changes you have made, and provide you with a new Energy Performance Certificate for a small fee.
Cost for re rating including re lodging the energy performance certificate are £60 inc vat
If we have carried out any of the improvement we will provide the re rating free of charge.
Terms and conditions
Payment can be made by debit or credit card at the time of booking or during our visit by cash or cheque.
Payment can be deferred up to 7 months at an additional cost of £50.
Internal Quality assurance
During our energy performance survey we will make you aware of every aspect of the construction data entered in our survey forms and explain what kind of effect it will have on the overall result.
If you are not happy with your energy rating and feel that we have made a mistake we will discus the Energy Performance certificate with you in more detail, if you are still not satisfied we can provide you with full SAP calculations which will show how the energy rating was calculated.
External Quality assurance
We can provide independent quality assurance for RD SAP (reduced data standard assessment procedure) calculations by providing full SAP calculations.
If you have received an Energy Performance Certificate by another company and you feel that the rating is incorrect, and you have made every effort for the original Domestic Energy Assessor to justify the rating and you are still not satisfied, then see if we can help solve your problems easily and hassle free.
We provide quality assurance services to one of the main accreditation companies, and play an active role in improving quality standards in the industry in general.
The energy performance certificate gives a property an energy rating between A-G and is a diagnosis of what improvements could be made to the property to make it more efficient.
Also it gives the potential buyer an indication of running cost for the property, and maybe it will become another factor in choosing a particular property.
