Test, Inspection & Certification and quality assurance
Gas appliance testing and certification. Including landlord gas safety inspections.
We provide a high quality service for testing, inspection, and safety certification, either for landlords, and for prospective property owners, or in 2007 for the vendor as a supplement to the H.I.P (Home Information Pack).
Tests will include flue gas analysis, and a print out will be provided.
If during these tests it is found that a gas appliance is unsafe, every reasonable effort will be made to make the appliance safe rather than issuing warning notices and disconnecting. For example if during a inspection it is found that the CO gases from a boiler were to high and servicing would make the boiler safe to use. We would then service and re test.
Only corgi inspection, advice, and warning notices pads will be used. All inspections will be carried out in accordance with current gas regulations.
Electrical tests, inspections, and certification
We provide a high quality service for testing, inspection, and safety certification, either for landlords, and for prospective property owners, or in 2007 for the vendor as a supplement to the H.I.P (Home Information Pack).
For surveys we provide an assessment of the overall condition and safety of the installation with indication of likely future repair and maintenance work.
We would provide estimates of cost in relation to remedial work and possible upgrading of the installation.
We provide periodic inspection and testing where safety and compliance is essential.
All our installation work is carried out to British standards and all relevant building regulations. Building control will be notified that work has been undertaken and they will be informed under part P of building regulations.
Service and repair
Under the European directive 2002/91/EC Energy Performance in Buildings. The directive states a boiler should be serviced at regular intervals, and their correct adjustment in accordance with product specification and in that way will ensure optimal performance from environmental, safety and energy point of view.
We offer a boiler and heating breakdown, service, and repair, in accordance with product specification, and gas regulations.
Services will include flue gas analysis, and a print out will be provided.
Gas safety certification, and maintenance reports will be provided.
Independent inspection and quality assurance
Under building regulation self certification for gas, and electrical installations, installers have the opportunity to self certificate there own work and inform building control through organisations like CORGI.
Installers that choose not to self certificate there own work would need to have there work inspected.
